About the Event
Our Sacred Mother is the translation of ‘Tonantzin’ from Aztec Nahuatl. She is symbolized as Guadalupe, the loving archetype of the Earth Mother. This retreat is a pilgrimage through her living heart of Mexico—an embodied journey to remember, honor, and restore our connection to the Divine Mother in all her forms. From the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where devotion to the compassionate mother has shaped centuries of prayer, to the ancient Pyramid of the Moon at Teotihuacan, where the Earth herself was once revered as creator and sustainer, we will walk a path that weaves matriarchal wisdom, feminine mysticism, and deep reverence for life. Along the way, we will be washed by the sacred healing geothermal waters of Tolantongo, and inspired by the fierce, tender devotion to truth and creativity embodied at Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul.
